I had an American girl doll when I was younger. It wasn't Samantha, but I had a few of the Samantha books. I was flipping through the American girl catalouge,and when I didn't see her, I was so upset, even though I have no plans to purchase a Samantha doll, I want her to come back so badly!

I think it was a poor decisions to retire her I mean she was and in some ways still is one of the most popular dolls...

I love Samantha. Her full name is Samantha Mary Parkington. She plays the classical piano, but she thinks she doesn't have that much musical talent. I was only 5 when Samantha came out from American Girl as Doll Of The Year.
