One Tree Hill commenced on September 23, 2003. The first season finale aired on May 11, 2004.

Tree Hill is a small town in North Carolina, home to the famous High School basketball team "The Tree Hill Ravens" and two half-brothers Lucas Scott (played by Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (played by James Lafferty). The two brothers have grown up in the same town, but have had little or no contact with each other due to the influence of their mutual father, Dan Scott (Paul Johansson).

Dan dated Lucas' mother Karen Roe (Moira Kelly) in High School but left her and his unborn child (Lucas) behind...

I find myself always writing articles about similarities between characters and shows, and this article is no different.
Have you ever seen the OC, you know the story, and you know that although the two (oth and the oc) are two teen dramas, they couldn't be more different. But I find that the similarites are practically endless. It's strange really how they can have so many similarities and still the two shows can seem complete opposites. Let me explain my conclusion.

Both are stories of brotherhood. Defiantly different types of brotherhood- Ryan and Seth being friends from the start and growing...

Did any1 know that before S7 started, Mark Schwahn had his heart on making Quinn, Haley's younger sister. She was originally suppose to be a gymnast not a photographer. Clay was suppose to start as her agent and it would have develop from there. They were introduce together.

Quinn was a senior in college, Clay was a young agent just out of college. He went recruiting at Tree Hill College in 7x01 and spotted her at the gym practicing for a big meet.

Both of their pasts were completely different. Quinn was never married, David was originally her boyfriend that she broke up with because he cheated on her and they would had flashbacks to show what went wrong with them. Their plan was way better than what happened. Clay's backstory was completely different, it involved his relationship with his family and how he had a drug problem and how he relapsed. There was no Ghost Sarah or anything.

Mark had to do rewrites cause Haley fans complained bout Quinn being the youngest.
I got really bored so here's just a little story I made up. As I said I'm really bored.
Season 7 Episode 1 'Touch me, I'm going to scream Part 2'.
Illumination came from the roaring fire within the marble mantlepiece surrmounted by a golden mirror.
Seven friends plus a baby girl and a young boy were sitting in a various seats in the living room embracing the warmth form the fire and talking among themselves. The gang had decided to spend a week in Rachels log cabin. Luckily Rachel gave Brooke the keys after she left Tree Hill.
Lucas was holding Sawyer and pulling faces hoping to make her laugh....

The table had been silent. Ever since the arrival of Haley and Nathan, things had simply gotten worse. To call it awkward would be an understatement. Brooke had managed to keep her eyes down on to her plate for the entire lunch, so far. Not that it really mattered. No one was really paying attention to anything except their food.

Deb had simply received complements on her cooking, and then the table had fallen silent. Everyone had been holding their breath, wondering who the first degrading comment would be made towards.

“Nate, could you pass the mashed potatoes?” Lucas asked his brother...

Peyton Sawyer dropped a cardboard box onto the floor of her new home, sighing softly as it hit the ground with a thud.

She kicked at it with her foot while observing the house quietly. It was too big. She was just one person, and yet she knew there was at least one extra bedroom.

Why had she purchased it again? Peyton knew she could answer that question herself. She’d always grown up in a large, empty house, why not do it again? Plus, this could be fun; decorating her own new swinging pad.

Right. Decorating her own new swinging pad by herself. Oh, she could just see the great times she’d have...

Hey girls! This is my interview with our newest Leyton FOTM, Amy-Beth, who is also the OTH FOTM. So that just goes to show you how awesome this girl is. She has added so much to the Leyton spot, and is such a sweet and amazing OTH fan. Love her! Okay let the interview begin!

Here are my interview questions! Thank you for the awesome questions! Excuse all the spelling and grammar guys! :)

1. Is Leyton your all-time favorite couple?
No, I’M SORRY GUYS! Naley is my favourite, and Leyton are a very close second. But now I’ve been introduced to Logan and Veroica and I can tell that will rock my...

I had the pleasure of interviewing Amy-Beth because she is the newest Fan of the Month. I love this girl.

Wow I’m so chuffed with this award and I won by majority as well! Thank you guys love you! I’m also going to apologise for my terrible grammar and spelling! :)

1. When did you start watching the show and what made you continue watching?
Oh wow, I started watching the show when it came out here in the uk. I saw the trailer for it and I thought it would be good. Plus my dad wanted to watch it anyway because of the basketball. I continued watching because I just really loved where the characters...

With the current spoilers floating around and the way things have been going on the show for Lucas and Peyton Im drawn to make a warning. If Mark really is writing these storylines where things seem to fall perfectly into place for Leyton, one of two things has happened, he's either become a crappy writer and we won't get another series because he's paced the show badly. OR something bad is going to happen in the show, my money is on the latter, or at least Im hoping its the latter because Id like another season.
Drama shows run on conflict, trauma, love triangles etc and if the main protagonists (Lucas) life falls perfectly into place then the show basically ends. So IF the baby storyline is true and IF the wedding happens, OTH is screwed.
Scene 15: Brooke tells Lucas that the doctor said Angie’s surgery would take a while. Lucas then says that if it’s okay, he’ll wait with her. Brooke responds that she’d like that, since Peyton has to go and she’d be on her own otherwise. Peyton tries to argue that she’s not leaving, but Brooke is insistent that she has an insanely busy day and should go get things done. Peyton finally gives in and hugs Brooke, telling Brooke to call her as soon as she knows anything. As Peyton leaves, Lucas says goodbye to her. She looks at him for the first time since reading his book, before leaving...

On the series, which enters its seventh season this fall, Buckley will play Clayton, a brash young sports agent who represents Nathan Scott (James Lafferty) and has become a close friend, ally, business partner and advisor to him while also enjoying the spoils that come from being a wealthy, handsome single guy.

Brian Austin Green was in talks for the role early on, but a deal couldn't be reached.

For Buckley, the casting stems from a talent holding deal he has with "OTH" producer Warner Bros. TV. This past season, he did an arc on another CW/WBTV series, "Privileged."

The upcoming seventh season...

Four and a half years have passed since High School graduation. Lucas is now coaching the Ravens with the assistance of Skills and is in a relationship with his book editor, Lindsey Strauss (guest star, Michaela Mc Manus), who urges him to write a second novel that will match the success of his first. Nathan and Haley are raising their son Jamie (Jackson Brundage) in Tree Hill, where an accident four months previously left Nathan near-paralyzed and his basketball dreams diminished. Haley is a teacher at Tree Hill High while Mouth is an unemployed sportscaster looking for work. Brooke is undoubtedly...

few weeks ago, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his baby-mama Hilarie Burton walked their first red carpet together in months. Hilarie gave birth to JDM’s son last year, although the whole thing was very hush-hush, and most people didn’t even know Hilarie was pregnant (much less “pregnant with Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s baby”) at the time. The whole thing seems to be a sketchy situation, and I was honestly surprised that JDM and Hilarie were still together, two years after their relationship “overlapped” with JDM’s relationship with Mary-Louise Parker. Anyway, just to add an extra dash of...

I love OTH, don't get me wrong, but here are just a few of the false conclusions I would have fallen victim to if I wasn't such a rational, mature, worldly young woman.lol This is just for fun,I mean no offense to anyone who watches the show religiously, for I at one time did. I'm picking fun at the misguided notions that OTH portrays as the facts of life...Tree Hill Style. Hope you enjoy!

1.    There must be no optometrists in Tree Hill. Lucas Eugene Scott clearly needs eyeglasses. He spends approximately 90% of the show with his eyes squinted up straining to see. The simple...

I’ve always wanted to see a White Collar/Castle crossover and it looks like I’m an inch closer to my dream.
White Collar actress Hilarie Burton is set to guest star in an upcoming episode of ABC’s Castle, EW has learned. Burton, who also played Peyton on CW’s One Tree Hill for six seasons, will play Kay Cappuccio, a reality TV star with good looks, charisma, and a knockout bod. According to casting scoop, the tabloid darling has “achieved significant fame and fortune without possessing any discernible skill or talent” and “is famous mostly for being famous.” Sounds like someone we know… not that I’m naming names — because I already did in the headline.
The character, however, is more complex than some might think, as she both relishes the spotlight and “at the same time feels like a prisoner of her own celebrity lifestyle.”
Burton will appear in episode 13, “An Embarrassment of Bitches,” set to air in 2012.
We all know that Chad Michael Murray is returning for an episode of One Tree Hill's ninth and final season. Hell, we spent weeks freaking out about it! But, a little birdie (ahem, me) heard that he may be back for more than one episode. Yes. For real.

While at Chad's NYC book signing tonight (for his graphic novel Everlast -- get it!) a fan yelled, "Come back to One Tree Hill, Chad!" Chad nicely smiled and replied, "I did! We've shot one episode so far."

That's when I stopped in my tracks. Wait. A. F*cking. Second. "So far?" I asked (loudly). Oops. No one else seemed to catch it! WHAT?!? Was this just a slip of the tongue or will Chad be back for more?!? "We'll see," he said with an innocent grin.

Come on. Maybe Chad was just teasing us, but either way, The CW execs better their their cards right! CMM is ratings gold!

Stay tuned for my interview with Chad as well as photos from the event! I totally fan-girled out on him and he was super nice about it. #Embarrassing #WorthIt
Chad Michael Murray doesn't exactly have the best reputation in H'wood.

In fact, it's downright douchey. In case you need a quickie recap: CMM tied the knot with his One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush. Then the duo had their marriage undone while rumors swirled that he had cheated with Paris Hilton. Then there were more rumors of diva-y behavior on set and he eventually left (or was booted from?) the CW show.

After that, guess Chad stopped fueling tabloid headlines...or they stopped caring about him. So when we caught up with Chad while he was out promoting Everlast, a graphic novel he penned,...

When we spoke with "One Tree Hill" boss Mark Schwahn early in the season, he told us that he was approaching Season 8 as the show's final bow. "Do I think that this is our final season? Right now, my instinct says yes," he said. "But anything can happen."

Well, OTHers, we've got some potentially great news for you. We just got off the phone with Schwahn, and he's singing a whole new tune. "I think we all really enjoyed this season, and when I say 'we' I mean the cast, and the producers, and everybody," he tells Zap2it. "I think that there's real interest in Season 9 from the studio and network."...

I have landed some scoop this week. All I will say is that Mark Schwahn has been it quite known in the writers room that he regretted doing Clay/Sarah. Don't believe what he says, he is covering for himself. The point of the Katie arc was to ruin Clay's backstory. Also, it was not his original plan. He had to do rewrites last minutes.

That all I will say, got more on this but I won't say more.

As a OTH fan I guess the best way to describe me is as a BLer, but that isn’t all I am, like so many other fans there is more. I remember when I was like fourteen years old and my friend Tarn and I had a fit when we found out Chad Michael Murray had a new show coming out, the excitement when I sat down and watched the first episode. I turned OTH on because of Lucas, I kept coming back because of Peyton, I fell in love with OTH because of Brucas and Jeyton, and after years it was Brooke Davis that dragged me back week after week as Sophia Bush rocked that role. When season 6 happened I saw...
