WHO THE HELL STOLE MY QUIZ?
A dozen or so quiz questions that I made (a couple days ago)on the Fanpop Users spot have vanished completely. What happened?
42 fans picked:
chel1395 didn't want no competition from an amateur
26%
Fanpop removed them -didn't like what you were asking
26%
Do not fear, Dave is here. He'll fix it!
24%
amazondebs payback: she's sick of your Bewitched crap
Cammie picked Fanpop removed them -didn't like what you were asking:
This pick is NOT hypothetical!!!
My bloody quiz has totally vanished. I'm kind of stressing here.
Takes me friggin over an hour just to make a 10 question quiz on the old dinosaur (dial-up) system.

What were they about? That's really odd. Kind of an obvious question, but did you contact the Fanpop Four?

Anyway, I explained the issue to Cammie. The deal is that if I see problematic questions (esp. those that get reported), I'll remove them. Removals may include:
* Badly worded questions
* Wrong answer (and correct answer wasn't present - b/c if it is, I can fix the question so everyone's score is recalculated right)
* Ambiguous questions
* Questions with multiple right answers
* Repeated questions
* Questions that are invalidated by time/activity/other circumstances
In the case of the disappearing questions they were mostly things like "Which spot has the most videos" and "which spot hasn't had a new image uploaded recently". Unfortunately, questions like these can easily be invalidated over time by activity in these spots. Therefore, when I see questions like these, I will typically remove them.
No harm, no foul on part of Cammie (it's all good). But due to the LARGE number of questions being created by all fanpop users and the high volume of questions we need to moderate, I can't always individually message folks when I remove their questions (though we may add something in the future to provide an auto-notification when they get removed).
Hope that clarifies things.

And my sincere thanks to Papa and Dave for replying to my enquiring email so promptly and explaining what had happened.
I was beginning to question whether i'd actually submitted the questions or was just losing my mind lol
I guess the bottom line is: think about what kind of questions you're really asking. In my case (in this particular quiz) it was a matter of "the right answer today may not be the correct answer next week."
All's good. Just have to put on my thinking cap more tightly.

Mwamwahahamwa right back at you!
This "mwamwahaha" silliness is getting out of hand. It's spread through all of fanpop - even papa's saying it.
Oh well, I guess it's catchy.
Mwahamwa.
