I've been on Fanpop for exactly a year now!
And in my time on this site, I've seen love and hate, I've seen new ideas and old traditions, I've seen agreements and nasty debates, I've seen just about everything. But back in the day, In 2007, Fanpop used to be about nothing but fun, love, and sharing interests. The past few months, most of what I have seen is hate, criticism, hypocrisy, competition, and bullying. We have seen fans write very mean things about other fans (not naming names), we have seen fans gaining up against other fans, we have seen cheaters, and we have seen several beloved Fanpoppers get their accounts deleted. I have made friends and enemies, I have made my fair share of spots and posted some good material, and I have learned a lot about social skills. Let's go back and think of some old memories...

i don't think fanpop has gotten any nastier this year it's just more users have joined aka more nasty users but also more good users too
