World famous photographer Annie Liebovitz was recruited by Disney for the Year of a Million Dreams campaign to promote Disneyland and Walt Disney World by persuading some of her celebrity friends to pose as beloved Disney characters. Only a few shots have been done so far, but 10 or 12 (including Peter Pan and the Little Mermaid) are in development. The photos will run as a series in magazines including Vogue, Vanity Fair, W, GQ, Conde Nast Traveller, Cookie and The New Yorker. And, with luck, they'll be available as prints, too.

Now who would I cast in these roles? It's too easy to cast Lindsay Lohan as Ariel & I don't believe she deserves the honor so I would instead cast Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules) as the Little Mermaid. I'm completely stuck on Peter Pan & Tinkerbell. While Tinkerbell is a sly vixen who calls to mind a Paris Hilton, I hope to GOD that won't come true.
Another pairing I could see is Anne Hatheway as Belle. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
so far my favorite photo is david beckham as prince phillip. i love him!
