Broody_4_Cheery and the rest of my loyal Brucasers: Here’s to REAL LOVE!
This is my interpretation/analysis of Brooke and Lucas’s relationship. Of course I am pro-Brucas…but I really tried to put everything into perspective without bias. It’s just my personal opinion, but I hope you enjoy it!
"Brucas share the same heart but differ in their minds, where as leyton share the same mind and differ in their hearts."
I took this quote from Broody_4_Cheery, as the premise for my argument on Brucas. While the romantic in me loves to blurt out “people who are meant to be always find their way in the end,” I have grown (especially after s5) to take a more realistic view on the relationship. IMO that way in the end if it doesn’t go my way (and Leyton ends up together) I can justify it as TV FICTION!
…because what I am about to write about is REAL LOVE…
What Lucas and Brooke share is something magical and REAL! It was undeniable to the viewer in S2&3, and IMO still is. It is not a fiction novel epic type love, nor friends w/ benefits, hook up and forget about it, or just pure physical...

Okay so I finally had the time to look up the part in the finale episode where Haley comes to see Lucas at the River court, where Peyton had left him the Comet drawing. Well, some people see it as another push in the Leyton direction, but I see it as a something much different. A beautiful expression of friendship, and honesty, and her way of helping Lucas to let go. Let go of Peyton. If you want to view it yourself here is the link:

It starts off as just sort of humorous. Haley picking fun at Peyton for how "Peyton like" her drawing is. Which by the way I find remarkably true. Does anyone else feel that by drawing over the others artwork, that they did together, Peyton is only thinking of herself, and her feelings for Lucas? I do. That's why I think this scene is so moving. It's looking beyond her drawing,that monumental piece of selfish artwork, and focusing on the bigger picture!

I found on TV.com a LPers summary of the Love Triangle and thought it was so biased I needed to bring the Brucas side to it. So I posted it in the What’s Up? Forum for others opinions, but couldn’t get it out of my head. So I went through it and wrote done my thoughts, it’s sorta longer than I expected, but yeah my anger got carried away so I thought I would turn it into an article instead of a post.
All the things I always wanted to say and so rarely get out. So here is my rebuttal in the LPvsBL debate.
