I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Zendaya: I’m no Miley - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Zendaya has spoken about how she hopes to grow as an actress while still sticking to her Disney roots.
The 18-year-old actress first shot to fame alongside Bella Thorne in Disney Channel show Shake It Up!
And while she has explored different career paths with a music career and stint on Dancing with the Stars, Zendaya is now working on a new Disney show entitled K.C. Undercover.
The stunning young star opened up about her career hopes in a new interview with Yahoo! Style, adding that while several of the most famous former Disney stars such as Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez have left their past behind, she is proud of where she has come from.
"Selena, Miley, Demi — they\'re all different and they all went different ways," Zendaya said. "Everyone has their own version of their career that they want to create and things that they want to do and accomplish. For me, I obviously want to continue to stay in the Disney world and grow at the same time."
K.C. Undercover tells the story of a high-school student who becomes a spy after being introduced to the world of espionage by her parents.
Zendaya hit headlines earlier this year when it was reported she was in line to take on the role of late singer Aaliyah in the Lifetime movie about the star’s life.
And despite the controversy surrounding the potential casting, Zendaya insists she would have brought “integrity” to the project.
“Here\'s how I put it: The first African-American President of the United States is half-black. So is he not the first black president? Is he just the first half-black president? Do we take that credit away from him? No,” Zendaya said. “Whoever is supposed to play Aaliyah — whether they are half-Asian or whatever — it\'s not about that. It\'s about doing it with respect and integrity.”
