"Mom?"
"Yes honey?"
"Are you coming trick-or-treating?"
Holly glanced back through the bedroom at Sam who shook his head before pointing to his watch.
"No, I'm sorry Lily. I'd love to come but daddy and I have a very...important errand to run."
"Okay..." The light haired girl frowned. Her hair was somewhere between brown and blonde hanging loosely behind her with flowers woven in. Her bright, cyan eyes were full of sorrow. Holly glanced at Sam who tugged a jacket over his Red Revenge suit and walked out of the bedroom. Holly walked in and shut the door.
"Daddy?" the girl asked, looking up at the man before her. "Why can't we go trick or treating?"
Sam squatted down in front of his daughter and lifted her chin up. "Your mother and I have somewhere very important to go."
"It isn't work, is it?"
Sam looked at the floor for a minute before back at Lily. "In a sense."
The girl looked confused. Sam smiled and slipped his hand inside his jacket, the bright red on his uniform flashing for a second before his jacket was zipped back up. He handed the girl a King-Sized Milky-Way.
"Take this, and don't tell your mother. Promise?" Sam said, handing the wide-eyed girl the candy bar. "We'll be back by eight and I'll tell you what: We'll go trick or treating again, and then we'll watch a movie."
"Okay daddy!" the girl beamed.
"Now then," Sam said, grinning. "What's a seven year old girl like you doing inside, when you can be with your friends getting candy?"
"Almost eight in thwee months." the girl said, poking out her lip and purposely mispronouncing the "r" in three. Sam grinned and put on mock sorrow. "I'm so sorry. Almost eight. You're getting so big!" Sam picked up his daughter and hugged her tightly.
"Sam!" Holly called.
"Coming!" Sam called. He made sure Lily got on the school bus before walking back inside.
"You are excellent with kids." Holly said, adjusting her mask in the mirror.
"And you did an excellent job with that princess costume." Sam replied, slipping his hands over Holly's waist.
Holly grinned. "Come on lover boy. Let's get back to work."
Sam grinned and slid on his mask before climbing into the hidden elevator. The husband and wife started towards the basement.
"I can't believe you gave her that candy bar."

Revenge started towards the Bat-Wing, but Batman turned and held up a hand.
"Clark, go. I'll be there in a minute." the Dark Knight said. Superman nodded and walked aboard' one hand on Kara's shoulder.
"You can't come." Batman stated plainly.
"Why not?!" Revenge demanded.
"Because you're pushing Clark's temper and Wonder Woman forbade you from ever visiting Themyscira after leading Wondergirl into a trap."
"Clark's temper?" Revenge asked incredulously.
"The girl likes you too much."
"Of course she likes me." Revenge smirked.
"Exactly, and you're having a bad influence on her. Clark wants you to stay here. I personally think she needs someone like you right now, but Clark says no and he is her cousin."
"Alright, I'll stay here with Alfred."
"Don't ask for too many sweets." Batman warned.
"Why would I ever do such a thing?" Revenge asked, mocking shock.
Batman smirked and boarded the Batwing.
"Yo Alfred!" Revenge called. "Cookies!"

“Sorry I’m late!” Flash said, speeding into the room and sitting down at the table.
“As long as you’re here.” Batman said. Everyone in the room was totally surprised.
“Well, we’re all here. What is it?” Superman asked.
“We’re not all here.” Batman said. “Not yet.”
The zeta tubes buzzed to life. “Recognized: Nightwing, B-01.”
Nightwing waked into the room and nodded at the Justice League members seriously.
“Grow up not like Bruce.” Wonder Woman muttered.
Nightwing took one of the empty seats at the table. Batman spoke up.
“There’s a mole on the Team.”
“Again?!” Nightwing exclaimed.
“But this time, I’m confident who it is.”
The Justice League was startled. “Who?”
“Red Revenge.” Batman said, pulling up a holo-computer of the Black Hero.
