Well looking back Rogue's actress was pretty flat. I can't really think of her showing an emotion that wasn't "mildly mopy" or "mildly happy" and that's pretty boring. In fact most of the actors weren't really flat out awful to me just boring. Like Iceman, or Havok, or Jean, or Kitty, or Storm. I guess in these movies you are either really good (Hugh Jackman, Ian Mckellen, Patrick Stewart, etc) or just really dull (pretty much everyone else).

That's a good point. Some of the actors/actresses it seems to be more their parts in the movies, because when I see them in other movies some are pretty good. Others, I think the dullness is their natural personality or how they think the character should be portrayed.
We need some more passionate actors in this movie who give all they've got even when the role isn't a lead or just a throw away character. So esentially we need more Hugh Jackmans.
My God, I just invisioned Hugh Jackman dressed up as all of the different X-men...it wasn't exactly pretty, sort of a milder version of Deadpool as Marvel Girl, but still that disturbing.
