X-Men Question

Would Rogue be able to able to steal Leech's power?

We all know Rogue takes another mutants ability for a short time, but Leech's power negates ones around him ("Your power won't work with me" - X-men: The Last Stand), so does this mean Rogue couldn't steal his?

Wow, this question was posted a long time ago, but I think I'll add my answer anyway.

Since this is based on the movies, I'd have to say, no they wouldn't. Since no one's powers will work within a certain range around him, and Rogue's power require a VERY short range to work since it's touch, I don't think she could steal them. I think it's worth noting that in the cartoon X-men : Evolution in the last episode of season 4 (also the last season), Rogue was able to steal his since they hadn't fully developed and only worked in short bursts on those around him, allowing her to get up close and personal and touch him, thereby stealing his powers for her own uses at the moment.

If were basing this on the movie then I would say yes, her powers would not be able to work on Leech's. The same thing would happen to her just like it did to the other mutants, it would negate her mutant effect.
