Which do you think is better: A happy or sad ending?

I love sad ending more!becouse it's more affecting!!:)

I prefer sad endings; but I am a massive fan of bittersweet endings. But it's up to you. I personally would go with bittersweet

How about a Happy-Sad ending? You know, where one sad thing happens in the end but another happy thing happens to balance it? It can be tough to write but if you pull it off it would be a real tear-jerker. Good luck anyways!

Take a bit of advice from a king, "start at the beginning, go until you reach the end, then stop." Don't think about the end until you get there. You can't cross a bridge until you're there, after all. Also, you should take a lesson from the man, his son, and the donkey: if you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one. Your story will be good when you are happy with it. Listen to no one's ideas but your own. You're the one writing, not them.
If you're the writer you think you are, you'll know the right ending when you see it. The perfect ending ties up all the loose ends in the story, yet, if it's part of a series, leaves the door open for more adventures. Try to avoid cliffhangers at the end of the book. Cliffhangers at chapter's end are ok, they keep people reading.

generally, sad endings suck for me, unless its like, a horror movie or something, you can make it a mixture of both, like its happy, but something sad happens, or its just happy

I love sad ending but I can't say all my stories have sad ending .
I think your story sould have a sad ending cause it has aproblems and pains

When you think of a possible ending, just write it down. It doesn't matter when you write it or how many you write, just write it down.

When the time comes, pick the ending that flows best, or the ending that gives you the biggest emotional response.

Happy ending because it shows from bad good an come and that may help someone in real life if you had it published and they read it while they were dealing with problems they would see that in the end all can come good.
