Have you ever named a character after another character you read in a book or saw in a movie/TV show?

Yeah, allot. I have a Sonic charater in a story called Rodrick that I got from Diary of A Wimpy kid

Sorta. I got a personality for a few of my characters off of a movie or TV show I didn't necesarially name them after characters.

Yeah! My characters names are usually things I'd name my own children, and TV inspires me, soo....

I once named the main character of one of my stories after a manga character, but I changed it later to something more fitting for her personality.

Yeah some times intentionally sometimes unintentionally. This girl in a story i'm writing about i named her after Laurie Strode from Halloween(1978).
My character in my Harry Potter fanfic's last name is after daredevil.
My comic book character i named before i read the maximum ride series and it turned out to be the same as one of the characters.

I use the name Christopher alot for characters in my stories...and I definitely took the name from my favorite Sopranos character.
