Umm...I like Neil with both but Sara does not represent conevenience and Alex Passion/Love..that´s just biased + incorrect

Well, I have to admit that it's my opinion supported by some observations:

It seems undeniable that Sarah fits his new life much more than Alex, given that she is a law abiding citizen.She leads an interesting life beacause of her job (where she can bend the law without breaking it) that can also certainly attract Neal.
Thus she is convenient for him because being with her would not mean going back to a life on the edge of the law ( whereas there is still a risk with Alex).
IMHO, Sarah is the safest choice.

It is more risky if he chooses Alex, because of her shady activities and the fact that it would be unlikely for her to become a respectable citizen (at least for now).

Besides,the chemistry between Alex and Neal can be translated by passion.I concede that what he feels for her is not love, at least not yet. But still, I think it is more than mere lust because otherwise he would just get it on with her and satisfy his urges,regardless of the consequences. That's why I used the term passion.

And I believe that he is not yet ready to sleep with Alex because it would involve feelings; it would involve more than mere lust, unlike the first time they met.There could be more at stakes and the romantic and idealistic person that he is instinctively knows that.
He is not ready to deal with his feelings for Alex which are an inconvenience at that moment in his life. Analyzing them would certainly make his life much more complicated than it already is.

I see your point and I do agree on the fact that Sara fits his new life more, but I don´t think he is only interested in Sara because it´s convenient. Neal isn´t the kind of guy who does things because they are easy or convenient in my opinion. He goes after what he wants. I don´t think that passion & love can be ruled out simply because of the fact that being with Sara would be "easier". But Neal & Alex have history and Sara & Neal are just starting out so we´ll just have to see what happens.

I'm not a fan of either of them... I like their charcters though. I just haven't met a character I like for him.

Sara is love, passion and convenience, all in one.

Sara is not only convenience and Neal is not the guy that settles with convenience...if anyone believes that Neal could just stay with a woman just because its convenient then you just dont know Neal's character yet....Sara for me represents love, security, something that comes easy, passion, fun and most of all trust and simplicity. Alex may be passion and fun and playful but she also represents secrecy, untrustworthiness, an unstable life and a person that will put herself above all....that is why I never liked them together...I dont care about other women that come and go in Neal's life...for example Maya didnt bother me she was cute and sweet and honest...but Alex just didnt click for me from the beginning...their relationship does not have a stable and solid basis..they would NEVER trust each other completely and that for me is a deal breaker. Whereas Sara is everything that I personally believe Neal needs!

^I agree completely! The episode "Ancient History" is a perfect example of how Neal & Alex's relationship works. They just keep playing each other. And even though he was willing to help her out, she still used him. He cannot trust her. Sara on the other had has never played him. I think they suit each other perfectly and I do believe they still have feeling for each other. Sara isn't just a convenience, she is the woman I think Neal should and will be with.
