Megaman X. Every sequel before this one was basically the same as the first Megaman game on the SEGA Genesis, but with Megaman X they steroided the enitre gameplay. Try it, try it, try it, try it, try...over a year ago
DICE and Infinity Ward have to put months of work and hundreds of millions of dollars for marketing and 5-minute trailers to get Battlefield 3 and Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 in the picture.
What Rockstar Games does is to get the GTA logo, put a V behind it with a small banner saying "five" through it, and releasing a 30-seconds trailer for the game. And whole world is turned upside-down.
Rockstar is just really good at advertising. I like their short trailers, and not to mention how long they take before releasing a new GTA. It's anticipating and never disappoints me.over a year ago
Hey guys, can you help me with something? My dad's been wanting to get one of the Call of Duty games so we're thinking about buying one soon for the holidays. He doesn't really want a specific one but is there one in particular that stands out that I should look out for?

The game reviews on IGN are whack. Don't you agree?
I mean, it's like an anticipated game doesn't have to be uniquely good to get a high rating. It just needs to have a high anticipation, and it automatically gets a score of 9.0 out of 10. When a game gets a rating of somewhere in 7.0, it's seen as an average game. Call it exaggerating, but IGN makes me sick.

True, true, I was already thinking of Duke Nukem Forever. I'll list you some games that got a rating of 9.0 or higher, that were nothing special (in my eyes). Prince of Persia, 9.5; Fable II, 9.5; the worst being Super Mario Galaxy 2, which gets a perfect 10. These games were either highly anticipated, or come from highly succesful franchises. I feel as if IGN makes exceptions for games like that and be... I dunno, softer to games like that, maybe let certain cons slide. IGN throws out a score of 10 way too often too, IMO.over a year ago
@Bond_Of_Fury Prince of Persia I can agree on. But Fable 2 wasn't all that anticipated, Fable was well-received, but it was nothing monumental to give its sequels any kind of overhype. And Super Mario Galaxy 2 got perfect scores left and right from many publications, I guess it was just that good. And IGN doesn't throw tens nearly as much as other websites, In 2008, It gave its first ten in ten years; that was followed by 6 tens since; And only two of those were for full retail, hugely hyped games.(Who also got alot of perfect scores). Maybe you should be getting sick over other websites who give tens more often, like Game Informer(10 tens in 4 years, all for hyped games) Eurogamer(52 perfect scores, Mostly recent)Or 1UP(Over 150 perfect scores)over a year ago
Well, the only gamingsites I've ever followed were Gamespot, IGN, and Game Informer. I didn't notice it at Game Informer... Anyway, I hate 10's. It shows that a game is absolutely PERFECT, but that just doesn't exist, IMO. At least give it a 9.9.over a year ago
Did you see the latest game informer? I loved the angry letter some 20 year old sent in about how My Little Ponies: Friendship is Magic is not frilly like they said. I salute him.

Give it a try. It's just as awesome, if not even more awesome. You can travel through the city in free-roaming style, and you have more playable characters. The gliding is being tweaked with, and feels even better. If you liked Arkham Asylum, you won't be disappointed. ;-)over a year ago
TRY RED DEAD REDEMPTION. Even if you're not really into the cowboy thing, Red Dead Redemption is a very special game. I used to think cowboys are just Brokeback Mountain, until John Marston (main character) came along. xDover a year ago
But that's actually what I like to see. Games of this generation have too many checkpoints, IMO. It makes most games too simple. But I read that Dark Souls re-defines the word "challenge". I'll try it out.over a year ago
Hey, (sorry if this may appear annoying to some of you but) I made this new club of an upcoming game; maybe a few of you have heard of it: Lollipop Chainsaw?
Well, here's the link: link
If you haven't heard/seen it, check it out sometime, da? Afterall, it's just one click away :D
Thank you *bows* ^_____^
