Vampires Question

I'm curious, what book, movie, etc...made you a vampire fan?

I don't remember what made me a fan of vampires, I just know I always liked scfi type "horror" (if that is what you would call it, that is what they call it.)and my favorites were always the ones with vampires. What about you?

I honestly can't remember what it was, specifically. I think it may have just been the idea of vampires, just hearing about them. And I used to watch Buffy a few times (but that seriosuly was years ago). I was totally open-minded and liked all the different styles and types of vampires I came across. And I still really do love them :)

As much as everybody hates it: Twilight. I loved the books, the movies... I just think the story is beautiful, but that's my opinion. I, truthfully, haven't read or watched anything else that has vampires in it, besides Cirque De Freak, but in my mind, that doesn't count. I don't know if I could get into the whole blood thirsty, deathful, scary vampire stuff; That might just be terrifying to me, maybe not.

Twilight is just an amazing, love story to me with a magical, strange twist. It's absolutely great.

When i was a little kid my family showed me Dracula the version with Bela Lugosi. I become obsessed with that movie i used to watch it all the time. Then i read Dracula and i became more into vampires. I stared to read books about vampires and watched more vamipre movies.

The Vampire Diaries series (before the show!), Cirque du Freak series, Interview With A Vampire, The Ketchup Vampires (movie), Once Bitten with Jim Carey, My Best Friend's A Vampire (movie), and DEFINITELY Buffy the Vampire Slayer (TV show and movie). Ohhh...and Moonlight (I loved that show!)and the movie "Love Bites: The Reluctant Vampire" with Adam Ant. Such a funny movie!
