The Night World Series, there are three books right know and a fourth book coming out and in the books are differant stories but in the end in the fourth book there stories come together its really good those are my favorite i'd start with this searies - L.J. Smith

No disrespect intended to Twilight fans, but my suggestion would be to try a real vampire book, like Stephen King's 'Salem's Lot, Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire or even Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Well, I hate Twilight, but no worries, there once was time when I was obsessed with it, it's jut over, and the other books are on my reading list, The Vampire Diaries is placed on top, but I really adore The Morganville Vampires! ;)
And if you are looking for different vampires you should definitely try House of Night series, which I personally love too!

i really love evernight its like a less complicated twilight with a bigger twist. I really love the house of night and cirque du freak but those arent really anything like the books you listed but still really good.

I have read all 4 twilight books, all 4 vampire academy book, and working on the forth Vampire diary book! They are all amazing. I would suggstthe nightworld series by L.J. Smith. It is about werewolves, vampires, witches, and shapshifters. If you like those you should read the Secret Circle by the same author. It is about witches. Ummm, another good series would be Vampire Kisses. Godd Luck Vampire Fan!!!!

HOUSE OF THE NIGHT series by P.C and Kristin Cast! I just read the first 2 book of the series there are 4 more to go. It is a bit different compared to twilight's style but still a great book.You'll love the characters.

uhm... I love Vampire Academy.. I would start with reading book number 4, Blood Promise!
I've also read Vampire Diaries and love them too..
House of Night are also great books, I would read them next!

Well Im just gonna say that my fav book ever and one of my greatest obsessions is Cirque Du Freak. I lov those books way to much. <3

you try the summoning by kelly armstrong or strange angels by lili st. crow or city of bones by cassandra clare . oh should try the morginville vampire books .and since you like stephie meyer she also wrote the host. and one of my favorite is percy jackson and the olympians by rick riodan but it not about vampyres. i hope you enjoy my ideas. and those are at the top of my head .
