If he died Bella would just forget about him and go off with Jacob because I see her as someone who takes advantage of people.

If he would've died she probably would've been devastated and then her and Jacob would've ended up together...but their love would've been way different. Who knows she may have ended up hurting him even more once she realized she couldn't love him the same way.

If edward would have died it would have ripped her apart and taken her forever to get over (If that was possible) And i don't think she would have been good with jacob if she's that ripped up!! PLUS i think jacob is a good enough person to see that she needs time and back off. (I hate to even think bout edward dying :-()

nooooo! Not edward! If he did die that bella would just be devastated like she was in new moon, only worse. Then after a while she would have ended up with jacob but she would never love him like she loved edward. EVER!!!!

Bella would have killed herself if Edward died.
