So your wife had to balance her career and the needs of the children so you could achieve your childhood dream of becoming the greatest quarterback of all time and you promised her that when you retire you would take on her responsibilities so she could pursue her dreams. Now she is asking you to keep your promise and you refuse. On the day you returned to the practice field your daughter had to comfort your wife who was crying in the closet. On that day your little girl had to learn her first rule in life. Men prioritize themselves above all else. Men never keep there promises. The careers of men are more important. A woman’s place is in the home. You are worshipped more than Jesus. You have more money than God. The women in your life nurtured your dreams from birth. Why do you choose not to reciprocate. In the 1940s millions of little girls dreamed of becoming pilots. In the 1960s little girls dreamed of becoming astronauts. Today little girls dream about becoming the next Tom Brady, but there is no pathway for them to achieve this dream. Fathers do not train, coach or nurture this dream and the NFL does not recruit women. Philanthropy is a noble cause. You could pave the way for your daughter to become the next great quarterback of all time. You could start an all girls pop Warner league and training camps all across the country. You and your colleagues could open up an all girls charter school in impoverished neighborhoods. You could build free reproductive health clinic for women near every stadium and provide us the care we so desperately need. You could name everything after your mother, your wife, your daughter and all the women in the world who nurture their childrens dreams. You are an MVP on the football field, but can you be a hero to little girls in life?
