No doubt it is a rare love, but I do believe there are few who have hearts capable of it.

I actually think so. It was basically love at first sight and even though I'm not exactly a strong believer in it, I think it actually exists out there. Plus, I believe it's pretty common that people feel like they don't belong or even that they're sick of their lives and the people in it like Rose was. Why shouldn't there be a person out there who's the exact opposite of you but still sees the world like you do?!
If we're counting the whole "Jack won a ticket while playing poker, accidentally met and saved Rose and later on died for her"...I guess it's not very realistic :D
