I haven't even seen Avatar but it looked crap anyways.

when i saw avatar's trailar i felt the same but after i watched it......it was just amazing.but i like titanic more

AVATAR FRIGGING ROCKS!!! most people think it looks crappy but actually it beat titanic! it beat titanic in box office gross and titanic held that 4 like 12 yrs! avatar is the most successfull and expensise movie ever made! if u havn't seen avatar... u really need 2 c it cuz i thought it waz going 2 be weird but i ended up seeing it 5 times!!! i love it!:)

I like both, but seriously....it's just pretty much a remake of freaking Pocahontas! Way too predictable, and though I liked it okay, it was NOT the best movie ever. And also, Titanic IS the best movie ever! I doubt that AVATAR will be in the box office for 12 YEARS! Titanic was a movie that had the BEST special effects in it's day, wonderful acting (Leonardo's BEST performance), and even though we are in a day where we have 3D and better special effects, it doesn't matter...Titanic was a long time ago-the movie, and the event! It's SUPPOSED to look old. People would probably look at Avatar and say, "Wow, sucky effects", but I don't think that they could ever say that about Titanic! Seriously, the best movie ever made!

I believe that if a movie ever should have beat Titanic....it should have been a classic, wonderful movie, one that was as good as the Titanic. One that had adventure and romance, but not one that overly hyped it...one that was like Titanic. Not Avatar.

Yes, Avatar had advanced technological aspects to it, but overall, I was not impressed with the movie at all in its entirety. It's also very agitating that everyone just "loves" it (mostly because of the effects it seems). It was so overrated. Avatar was so far-fetched, so I found it quite hard to relate to in that sense.

On the other hand, every time I watch Titanic, I am blown away. At least Titanic doesn't need a crutch of effects to support it. It relies on its brilliant acting performances by Kate, Leonardo, and the other actors. Additionally, I don't think Titanic was overhyped; in fact, I believe it's underrated, and for some reason, sometimes it is mocked. It was also very much rooted in the real world. And it was meaningful.

Titanic.I havent seen Avatar yet too.And I dont like this movie cuz I watched the trailer and I hated it!I really dont understand why Avatar is more succesfull than Titanic!

Avatar is great but titanis is.....amazing and moving and probley the best movie tht will ever be made
