I would've liked the truth to be something else than the 2012 thing. I don't know, maybe it would've been more impressive and interesting if seen back then in early 2000's, as in before that date came and went and all the stupid hype around it. But I watched the last season only recently.

But even so, I think this show would've deserved a more original / more creative ending.
The only reason I'm not disappointed is that they ended with Scully and Mulder & that scene was lovely. :)

By the way, I heard that this show continues with new episodes. I should look into it, but if they don't have the original cast I don't really care to watch.
