Elena?? WHat has she really done to be selfless. Are we forgetting that Bonnie would give her like to save elena in 2x18 and 2x21.. And then after what damon and stefan done to abby.. Elena had the nerve to get Caroline to ask Bonnie's help to help alaric!! AND guess what ! She did.. She did the spell to save Jeremy in 3x18 even after cheating on her with a ghost ... All they do is go to Bonnie for help ! I perfect example 3x18. Stefan and damon texted Bonnie to come help when they didnt even say sorry for what they did!!!

Bonnie is saving the whole town, every freaking minute. She sacrificed herself for Elena in 3x18.
Okay, I get it. Damon is hot, but that still doesn't change the fact, that he is selfless. -.-

Damon IS selfless. He would give up the love of his life for his brother, even though Stefan would never do the same for him.

Elena, Damon and Matt are the only people that have been CONSISTENTLY selfless.

- Matt gave up his sister, in order to save Elena.
- Damon is willing to give up Elena in order for Stefan to be happy, and even pushes SE
- Elena is willing to constantly sacrifice herself if it means saving her family/friends.

That isn't selfless, it's selfish.
Damon goes after his brothers otp, even when that bro gave his humanity up for Damon. That isn't selfless, it's selfish.
Mat giving up his sister was heartbreaking.
Elena may be willing, but she doesn't. Because it's everyone else who sacrifices for her.

- Has lost her mother TWICE because of Elena.

Stefan is secondary on my list of being selfless.

How the hell is Damon third he is one of the most selfish characters on the show. The ONLY selfless characters are Bonnie and Matt.
