I think he would be a badass vampire! :)

i mean he's the only human in elena's life (not counting matt becuase he doesn't get in so much trouble like elena's other friedns & family)
i mean look at her other friends bonnie is a witch, caroline is a vampire,damon & stefan r vampires all of them can protect them seleves from anything and she sent jeremy away so he's safe, but alaric is the only one who puts his life in the line with the risk of actually dying espcually now that his rings doesn't work so i really think he should become a vampire

^ This is exactly why I think he should stay human. I don't think it'll be good for Elena to be the only human girl among vampires, witches, werewolves and hybrids. She needs to have someone who's like her.

Yeah, but Jeremy's gone, so if Alaric would turn into a vampire she'll only have Matt as a close person who's human.

I don't want him to turn. he's been the toughest human that knows how to challenge Vampires, and he managed to stay human in this crazy situation. I like him for that.

We have enough vampires on the show, I like his badass supernatural hunter and we really do need more humans.
