How is it possible that Damon is winning? I mean, I know everyone loves him, and most of the people love Delena etc. But if it comes to heart, Damon can't win over Stefan at all! You know what?? @chopilichi. In the first place all we had to pick Matt. Because he is human. He don't kill people etc etc. So no offence that Damon is first and Stefan second. And i pick Damon myself because a) I love him obviously b) I think he have a good heart. He felt the pain the most so he's more vulnerable...He can be the BEST if he wants to.

I love Damon, but his heart is only great to those he cares about (which is just Elena and Stefan), whereas Stefan cares for all people (when he isn't a ripper obviously).

DAMON! Obviously! Of course he has the biggest heart!!!!!!!! He always puts Elena before everything! He has a heart of gold, and he protects everyone she cares about because he loves her SOOOOO much! He will even bring Stefan back for her because he loves her, more than anything. Damon hates Stefan, but he'll bring him back for Elena, because has such a good heart! Damon even felt bad when Andie died, and she wasn't even important. He's such a beautiful martyr. Stefan killed Andie, and Damon would still bring him back FOR ELENA! If that's not a pure heart of goodness, I dont no what is.

Oh and "justlurvedamon" DAMON only cares about Elena!!! Not one else!! Stefan on the other hand cares for Damon (hello, look where he is now because of what he did for his selfish brother!), Elena (durrrr), Caroline (see episodes 2, 3, 9, 13, 17), Bonnie (see season 1), Jeremy (2x01, 2x10), Jenna (2x21), Alaric (see episodes of season 1) even cilivians! Like look at 2x07 for example, when Stefan found out that that chick (Amie lol) was dead he wanted to call off the plan to kill (aka murder) Katherine, because an innocent person died! Damon just told Stef to get over it!!!! Not very caring to me!!! Stefan cares for people in general, Damon just cares for himself and Elena!!! Which in the end, benefits himself!Damon does NOT care for Stef the way Stef does for Damon! Damon is selfish! Selfish!

Seriously, Damon has been in a really dark place for a long time, because of Stefan and Katherine, and their selfishness. Elena was the reason that he statred becoming better, but it was hard for him, but he worked at it, and is becoming a better person. Remember when he saved Caroline for Elena? And then Caroline and Tyler, and he just started doing all these good things, because of Elena. but eventually, it's just because he wanted to be better! Stefan doesn't care, ghe just up and left town so that he could be a big bad ripper again. So that he could kill people and hang out with Klaus. He didn't even give a second thought to leaving Elena...

And to top off his rudeness, he doesn't even stick around to see if Jer will be okay! It Stef did it (which he NEVER would) he would at least stick around and try and put Jer's neck back in place like he does for the bodies!!! And stroked Jeremy's hair out of his eyes!!!! Okay, are you mentally insane? Damon DOES NOT kill people to express himself. he is emotionaly unstable, and has no self control. Stefan, supposedly has self control, shouldn't he be like responsibility man or something? Damon doesn't make Stefan feel bad, he only speaks the truth! What?! And stroking his hair is creepy, but the only reason Damon didn't stay around to do that was becuase it would have ruined Elena and jeremy's moment which would have been rude. Unlike some annoying brooding characters, Damon is polite and kind.

Elena, hands down. She was willing to sacrifice herself for everyone she loves. She has forgiven Damon and Stefan for awful things. She forgave Tyler in an instant. She fights for the ones she loves. She is loving and forgiving to a lot of people.

I love Damon. He is my favorite. Damon has a big heart when it comes to the ones he love. But he can be cold hearted and a ruthless killer at times.
Stefan loves his brother more than anyone and life itself. But he can also be a ripper. I don't think either brother qualifies to be the one with the biggest heart. The love the ones they love but they are also predators, vampires.

Bonnie, she tried to save the whole town and she would die to save Elena from Klaus.

Bonnie sucks, ewwwwwwww. And Elena is hateful and annoying. The biggest heart? I don't even think she has A heart. Just look what she did to my poor bb Damon... She loves him (duhh, who could resist) but she won't say it, and it's torturing him.

I have to say Stefan. Stefan is just a genuinely caring person. His current situation would tell you that. He sacrificed everything he had, even his humanity, and Elena, to save his brother. I don't think there is a bond on the show, stronger then the bond between Damon and Stefan. Stefan even forgave Damon after killing his BEST FRIEND. But, that's just one character. Stefan is one of the only characters on the show who actually cares about everyone. When he heard Elena's car crash, he had no idea who was inside, but he just jumped into the water, because that's the kind of person he is. I love Damon, and really does care about the ones he loves, and I don't think he'd ever let anything happen to Stefan, but Stefan wouldn't let anything happen to anyone. He's saved and helped so many people, Caroline wouldn't even be standing if it wasn't for Stefan. And, i know, you can't justify the fact that he's killing innocent people now, it's still wrong no matter how you look at it... but, he is doing it to protect the ones he loves, Damon and Elena especially, he even cares about Klaus. he cares about people so much that he's actually thankful to Klaus for saving his brother, of course, but caring enough to be loyal to him as well. Stefan has the biggest heart, hands down.

Okay, I ranted a little more then intended... but eh, whatever.

Ok for one, Stefan left Damon and Elena to save his brother and to keep them safe! So dont know one go there, that he left them on purpose like wtf did yous watch the episodes. So without stefan doing that none of you hot headed damon fans(I love him to, but Stefan did save him) would have him!!!!

Like you said @justlurvedamon Damon felt bad after Stefan killed Andie, and she wasn't even important for him. So Damon just compelled an inocent person so he can have sex or whatever, whenever he wants? That's not having a good heart.
And yes now he is looking for Stefan. But he just gave up on him after Stefan told him to stop looking for him, and the only reason to look for him again was that he noticed Stefan (because of his great heart) saved his life AGAIN. Otherwise he wouldn't care.
And btw Damon killed Stefan's BEST FRIEND Lexi, a person who Stefan cared a LOT about, and he forgave Damon. Then he gave himself up to Klaus, to save Damons life once again. And while he wishes more then everything to be with Elena, he just doesn't because he wants to protect her! And he can't if Klaus finds out she's alive. So please people, accept Stefan has the greatest heart in TVD, even if Damon is your favorite character and you love him.
