Always. I really hated Stefan in this episode.

Stefan Was A Total Jackass In This Episode, The Whole "I Respect Her" BLAH BLAH Was Soo Annoying Because Damon Is Right, When You Love Someone You'll Do Whatever It Takes To Protect Them Even If They Hate You For It And Respecting Her Is Only Gonna Get Her & Alot Of Other People Killed! I Trust Elijah But Stefan Is Trusting Elena's Judgement & She Doesn't Give A Crap If She Dies!!!

i'm always gonna be on Damon side...cause even tough some people might see it in a different way..i understand where his coming from. Stefan is always pissing me off.

If he was just evil I could like him or if he was evil but turned good or good turned evil or a good hearted rogue who pretends to be bad but isn't, I could like him. But this whole half good half evil trying to be good but failing and killing people thing is getting pretty fucking old.

Also I cant understand how respect isn't part of true love for some people, if you don't respect them then you can't actually love that someone. Sure you can be in love with them, but you'll never be happy.

Agreed 100% people wonder why Elena is with Stefan and isn't with Damon, but when you think about it, it's obvious! Damon is an obsessive jerk who has to get his way.Stefan is a sweet & sensitive guy who knows how to treat a lady.The majority of girls in the world would pick Stefan.

Stefan was so smug the way he talked to Damon. Did he not get his concern? I love Elena being bold and making her own decisions. But she is a 17 year old girl, willing to see the best in people and willing to set her life at risk for others. It was not that long ago that Elijah wanted to sacrifice her. Damon did not stop her. He protested, he was desperate. She is in danger and it scares the hell out of him. He is terrified of her making a mistake.

Damon's my favourite character, but i'm not going to be biased because of it. Stefan trusted Elena enough to do what she had to do, Damon didn't. Damon went rogue, now I remeber when Bonnie went rogue, she got hate for it. Just people being bias, as usual

How is my insight unusual? When did I say that I can see what others think? We can see what people write, so thats what i'm going by, which is not that hard really.
Me, as well as many others who saw the show, saw Damon go rogue and go against Elena, when he specifically promised, he would do it her way. Elena found another way, so why not just suck it up and apologise, especially if you claim to love the girl you want to protect so badly.

Realist1, Sure people can be biased. But that goes for Stefan fans also. But we don't know who is being biased or who sees things from another perspective.

Claricee: Anyone can be biased towards their favourite character or ship. I'm not even a Stefan fan, at all, but I can see where he is coming from. I believe that, with some, you can tell who is being biased, especially with the ones you converse with. Though, no, not everyone is biased and do have different view points. I have also been able to see others perspectives, where mine has been different, therefore understanding where a person is coming from.

I was giving examples of why people will take Damon's side, not just because he is hot. It could be anything, his character or what he's been through, but yes, I have seen people taking Damon's side, because of these reasons, though, not everyone is like this.

I can even understand Damon, but i'm not just going to pick him for the sake of it.

Firstly, i'm not a Stefan fan. Damon is one of my two favourite characters and because of this, I will not excuse his behaviour and thats because I can see better out of him. If you don't show a person that their doing wrong, how can they make it right.

No, I think Paul Wesley is beautiful, but I am not going to be on Stefan's side for that. I am going to be on Stefan's side because Damon was an utter douche last episode.

This is what I hate. People excuse Damon's actions because he "needs someone to love him." No. You do realise he is abusing an innocent woman for simply selfish reasons because he needs a distraction? He is manipulating and using her. Do you have ANY idea how wrong that is? For me, being annoyed with Damon last episode wasn't just about the Elena/Elijah/Stefan stuff, but mainly everything with Andie. It is disgusting and I don't care whether he doesn't get enough love, it is wrong. No other way to describe it. Just wrong.

Is that at all not bias? To stay that you will NEVER switch sides? So, hypothetical situation, he kills everyone in Mystic Falls, you are still going to side with him even though he is clearly in the wrong? How is that not bias? I for one usually wait for the fallout and then decide who I believe who was in the right and who was in the wrong. Sometimes I am team Damon in a fight, other times I am team Stefan and in this case I am definitely team Stefan.
