No doubt.
She makes her character very interesting, I mean not stereotypy.
I like better Nina as Elena, because there you can see something individual in this character.
But as Katherine she's horrible. I mean everyone would play Kat like she does. She's like every "bad girl" in the Disney films. Katherine is very stereotyped character. That's why I dislike Kat so much.

Daaaaamn, this is hard. Candice plays Caroline perfectly really. And a few months ago I would have picked her. But Nina is just so perfect as Katherine. And I believe that she really improved a lot as Elena.

All the way.Lol..Nina is a horrible actress.As Katherine, she has some great one liners and a prom queen(Nina has to create Katherine as dangerous, ruthless which character will create drift and controversy in most of the fans, Absolute fail there.)As Elena , she is awful also. Tell me one emotional scenes she has done any justice, she has got lots of chances to shine but awful, one of the worst, I have ever seen in TV.I personally don't consider Nina even as actress and TVD is not even her first project, in Degrassi, she is awful also..Her tone and facial expression never change.Candice is a good actress,I agree with darlingbear about stereotype...Candice was so good when she was changing as vampire.

IA with vampire_birbie. This is why i've never taken to elena, though, she's a bit better as katherine, but that's it.

Aww love the pink gloves. Both are good actresses. But sometimes I forget that it is the same actress playing Elena and Katherine. It takes a really good actress to do that.

Nina is amazing. She can play two opposites characters perfectly, and I do agree with Melisey - sometimes I forget that too ;). But I also like Candice, she has been really great this season.

NINA!! NINA!!! Candice is good but like normal good. Nina on the other hand is perfection. Have you watched "Katerina" she blew me away. Also the scene when Damon tells Elena he loves her you could just tell what she's thinking without even saying a word.

Candice's acting is mediocre in my opinion. She nothing special and isn't a standout. Nina is a fantastic actress and plays both of her characters so well. Her performance in 4x15 when Jeremy died was oscar worthy.
