We know Tyler got his werewolf gene from his father. Does that mean a girl gets it from her mother?

No its just in Tylers fathers side and it only comes out once u killed some1 its not on his mothers side at all and any females tht came from his fathers side will also carry the gene

probably not, it really doesn't matter which parent you get a gene from, like my mom has blue eyes and my dad has brown eyes and I have brown eyes just because my mom is a girl and I'm a girl doesn't mean I would get that gene from her!
