The Vampire Diaries TV Show Question

I have a theory on how Damon, Elena, and everybody else can defeat Klaus...

Since Klaus is half-vampire, half-werewolf, couldn't he be defeated by Caroline and Tyler? Cause if somehow Caroline and Tyler started dating and Tyler got her pregnant, couldn't their baby defeat Klaus? They would equally matched opponents and somehow maybe their baby could defeat Klaus, right?

I thought vampires couldn't have children?

And besides, if it were possible they would have to wait some years for the baby to be able to "do" something. You can't go to Klaus with a newborn... like "Klaus, we'll defeat you with this baby!!!" and the baby is all like "goo, goo gah gah"
