there is something wrong with the story line !! or i just didn't get it right ?!

She made a deal with the Lockwood son, who tells her of a secret door to let her out of the church where she escapes and then goes back to the dead brothers and weeps over Stefan's dead body.

So yes, they did try to get her out of the carriage, she was put back in it, and Damon would have been right on her being taken back to the church, which she later escapes from and then sees the bodies of Damon and Stefan after which she goes away for another 145 years never to return until after the founders day festival.

i don't remember the specifics but i do remember them saying in season 1 that katherine provoked someone(a guard or whoever)to let her out of the church,and in episode 4 season 2 they show her in the woods not her getting out of the cart.



so Damon and Stefan try to save her,fail, she is put back in the cart and is taken to the church, Katherine provokes someone to set her free, she escapes and arrive at the place where Damon and Stefan are lying dead!

but i don't remember Damon saying that he saw them taking her inside the church.
