His character has so much more about him than any other; sarcastic, dangerous, humorous, honesty, anger... the list could go on. And with all the negativity surrounding him, you still can't help but love him. Behind that cocky, guilt-free attitude is the second-best, misunderstood guy who is desperate for someone to love him. What's not to like?

I like Damon, dont get me wrong hes a great character, but from the season premiere with Jeremy & Elena the guy has a lot to make up for. I hope he can redeem himself and actually try and understand why Elena hates him instead of joking around, because they had a great friendship and right now with Katherine back I think they really need each other (:
