Yes, the series is very good! A lot of Vampire Diaries fans haven't read the books and they're really missing out! I certainly suggest you read them. :)

Ermm...Honestly...this is just my opinion, I found the first two books quite (I hate this word) boring but the other books are totally amazing. You really get to know the characters more in depth compared to the show.
So, yeah you should read them!!!

They are a lot different than the Show,but they are still amazing!

Technically, the tv series and the book series have huge differences. The last book will be out this 2010.

The books are good ,But i have to warn you that the t.v. show and the books are not that alike =]
