As the picture says, she's trapped, and it made her such an interesting character. As evil as she was, as addicted as Louis was to her, and as hard as she attempted to kill our precious Lestat, I will always love her. She made Interview with the Vampire several leagues more fascinating that it would have been had Louis adventured on his own.

Well, you pretty much said it all. And I already said before, somewhere around these VD related spots, that I think she's one of the most brilliant and fascinating fictional characters ever.

But even so, you're mean. Making me choose between her, Akasha and Gabrielle. <3 Gabrielle though, isn't so much my favorites as a character herself but I love her because and the way how, she's so important and dear to Lestat.

Personally, I found it a hard choice between Claudia, Akasha and Maharet. But Claudia she's so tragic, and a gorgeous little doll to her demonic fathers. You can't help but pick her.

i just got hooked from there story in queen of the damned and i thought they were really intersting characters Maharet had her eyes taken out and Makare had her tongue takin out so they couldn't reach each other i thought it was tragic seems how they were so close in the book
