Is Ned Flanders protestant or cathloic?

Protestant, I believe. Anyone seen the episode where Bart and Homer becomes Catholic, and Flanders and Reverend Lovejoy are trying turn them into protestants again?

Protestant he goes to "Church" not "Chapel" and also as previously said Ned and "Reverand" aka Minister (also Protestant as he is married) try to convert Bart and Homer from Catholicism

In the series the reverend Lovejoy says they are: "Presbylutheranism", a denomination that doesn't exist but mocks Presbyterian and Lutheran churches' names.
