i was looking over some pictures I had of this episode, and jim was always inthe background, helping the photo id guy. then i remembered the whole messing-with-dwights-id thing ("...my name is kurt, not fart." "What i'd put?")

anyways...

i was wondering why jim was helping him. was this ever explained? was he just being nice?
