The Office Office Trivia: Foods That Have Been Featured on the Office

dxcooper's post about Michael buying ice cream sandwiches for the office
(link) got me thinking about other foods that have been featured on the show.

what other foods have been featured on the show? I'll start with the soft pretzels from season 3, episode 5 (The initiation).

In the words of Stanley:
"Stanley: I wake up every morning in a bed that’s too small, drive my daughter to a school that’s too expensive and then I go to work to a job for which I get paid too little. But on Pretzel Day? Well, I like Pretzel Day…"

Ok, your turn. Name another food that figured into an episode of the Office :-)

Michael's crazy addiction to Bacon should not be forgotten! Michael's bacon fetish and a George Foreman grill are what led to his 'injury' in season 2.

"most nights before I go to bed I will lay six strips of bacon out on my George Foreman Grill. Then I go to sleep. When I wake up, I plug in the grill. I go back to sleep again. Then I wake up to the smell of crackling bacon. It is delicious. It’s good for me. It’s the perfect way to start the day. Today I got up, I stepped onto the grill and it clamped down on my foot. That’s it. I don’t see what’s so hard to believe about that…"

How about 69 Cup of Noodles for Kevin when he was waiting to see if he had skin cancer.

"I know it might seem crass, but it's his favorite number and his favorite lunch."

Plus Michael is eating one when he's trying to get invited to Jim's barbecue.

BEETS!!! Beets are at the core of Dwight Schrute's universe.

Also, the recent episode with Oscar's "Mexican-themed" welcome back party had some funny food references.

One more: the Egg McMuffin that Ryan Howard brings into the office early one morning for Michael (back when he was still an impressionable temp).

kevin's obsession with M&M's. winning that golden aluminum yogurt cap is sure proof from "office olympics".

ooh! and the coke that jim had to buy pam for the jinx that they had during "drug testing". they both said "i do not think that is funny", while impersonating stanley! =D

The dead goose Dwight brought in to cook!

"He was already dead, and we Schrutes use every part of the goose. The meat has a delicious smoky rich flavor. Plus, you can use the molten goose grease and save it in the refrigerator, thus saving you a trip to the store for a can of expensive goose grease."

I can't believe no one's mentioned tuna fish yet. As in Jim "Big Tuna" Halpert.

I don't know if drinks count, too, but I'd also like to mention the Nog-a-sake.

great list everyone. I knew there were tons of food jokes and referrences but this list goes beyond the call of duty.

I had forgotten about the nog-a-sake
