Okay, so there are a few Office episodes that have certain things that we don't get to find out about. If you have a problem, write

Problem:___________________________

If you have an answer list the problem and under put

Answer_____________________________

Here are my two unsolved mysteries

1: What did Pam say to her Mom on Casino Night? There has been speculation, but I am not sure if when Pam replied, "I think I am" did her Mom ask, "Are you in love with Jim?" Or, "Are you going to stay with Roy?"

2: In Season 2 Christmas, Jim says, "Cause Christmas is a good time to tell people how you really feel." Then, he takes the card away. WHY????? I wonder what it said.

Answer: It was most definitely about how he was in love with her.

Problem: How did the Camera Crew get all that footage in the highschool without any of the kids reacting?

Answer: I'm pretty sure the message in the card was Jim telling Pam how he felt about her. I'm just surprised that Dwight didn't open it :)

Answer: I think that her mom asked her if she was going to go through with the wedding still. She was with Roy for like 9 years and I don't think it would've been that simple just to drop everything at that moment. I mean Pam was attracted to Jim but I think she started to realize she loved him after he went to Stamford. Then when he came back and she saw him with Karen and realized he was slipping way, that's when she realized she was in love with him too.

Yeah, you are probably right kathria82. I thought that she said she was in love with him at the end of season 2, but when I say "Gay Witch Hunt" it brought up the question, "If she was in love with him, why didn't she go with him?

because she didn't have enough courage :)
oscar mentioned that courage was pam's weakest points

Answer: Because the extras where told to ignore the cameras and act natually as they walked through the scene or they would be removed from the set and would not get a free lunch.

Problem: the relationship between Dwight and Angela. When started?

problem: This is an off-screen thing. There is probably no right answer, just speculation. In season 2, The Secret, when Jim told Pam he no longer had feelings for her, (but he was so totally lying) Jenna fischer cried after the scene. I learned that from the commentary. Did you guys think it was an especially sad scene? Cause I did not.

it was sad

problem: ...what does merideth do? in "the allience" jim wrote in her card that she was an accountant, but i dont think thats it...

well in Boys and Girls, she says that she is good at public relations, so that leads me to believe that she's in public relations, lol.

Answer: Well if you remember in the commentary when she was preparing for that scene she went in the state of mind that she was Pam. So I guess that Jenna got so emotional because Pam already had feelings for Jim at that point so Jenna took the rejection seriously. Pam wanted him to still like her so when he said that, it made her cry but really for Pam. I hope I make sense, lol.

You do. I can understand that. I got it from Wikepedia. I suppose if I have heard the actual commentary, it would have made more sense to me.
over a year ago kathiria82 said…
Well no wonder. You have to watch the commentary because Jenna explains how she was feeling in that scene and why it made her cry. ;)

Problem: Okay, maybe this isn't a problem but, in Season 1: Health Care Michael calls his friend who owns a mine shaft because he wants that to be the big surprize to raise morale. I swear that the guy on the other line is actually Creed. Any one else?

Answer: I can't be sure it was Creed, but maybe he runs a mine shaft to make some extra cash. With Creed, who knows??

Problem: Pam is quite disturbed to realize that Phyllis has the exact same invitations and dress at her wedding as Pam was going to have at hers. Now, was this an accidental coincidence, or do you think Phyllis just saved time by copying Pam??

i was just wondering for next season... is rashida jones still gonna be in it?

Rashida Jones will be in the next season just for the first couple episodes.

Question: What does Creed do in Quality Assurance other than checking the paper mill once a year?

Answer: I think she obviously copied Pam's ideas. Pam was practically planning her whole wedding in the office. Everyone always saw her wedding planner and heard her talking. In reality you don't want to believe that people would copy you or your ideas but some people are like that. I find it flattering. Who knows really, it could have very well been a coincidence but I doubt it. :)

Answer: He eats mung beans, runs illegal businesses, steals things, runs a blog, and forgets peoples names. (Merideth, Mary Beth!) Now if you mean what he is payed to do, I have no idea.

Answer: In the deleted scenes, it shows that that guy is a client of Dunder Mifflin. He didn't even remember Michaels name at first.

Problem: What does Dwight do with his money? He shows Michael his "terminator" glasses and Michael asks him the same question. He owns his house, he has his own crossbow range, and he has a working beet farm. What else could he need?

Answer:
He probably spends it on collectables, like bobble heads, because in the Take Your Daughter To Work Day, he told merideths son not to touch his bobbleheads.

Problem: Why would the Camera Crew be willing to let Michael jump off the roof without interfering?

Answer: They aren't supposed to interact in the scene. That's why they didn't help Andy out of the lake or tell anyone that he was in there. If you have ever seen the movie Drop Dead Gorgeous with Kirsten Dunst, the entire thing is filmed as if it is a documentary. There is a scene where this retarded kid gets his pants stuck in a car door and he can't get out. Across the bottom of the screen, text comes up and says: "It is the policy of the filming crew not to interact with the subjects." :)

Problem: Do you think anyone else in the office suspects Angela and Dwight are dating?? They aren't very good at hiding it. Surely someone else has noticed something, right??

Due to the problems that Michael and Jans relationship caused, Ryan institutes a no office romantic relationship policy.

The camera crew doesnt directly, physically, interact with the office members, but they do interact. In "Email Survaillance" the camera man, after Pam asks him to keep a look out for anything "suspicous," gets her attention and shows her that Dwight is eating a Baby Ruth bar. The same type of candy that Angela bought...2 of.

Answer: Pam knows, but didn't tell anyone, she found out in Email Survaillance but didn't tell Jim because she asked Phyliss, "Have you noticed any relationships around the office?" and Phyliss was like, "Oh, you and Jim?" so Pam felt weird. And Jim knows because he saw them making out. And honestly, I don't think anyone else would care that much.
over a year ago Ross266 said…
It would seem that Ryan also knows, but he never says anything or acts on it. Oscar and Kevin are suspicious of Angela cos she says "office romances" which is plural. They never make a connection between her and Dwight though.

Answer: I also think that Ryan may know, but I'm not sure. Watch the episode Michael's Birthday and see what I mean.

Answer: The statement was made that Jim would never go through with it. I think that moving to Stamford was the same thing for him. Maybe this season he and Pam will go together ; )

Answer: I thnk what happend was she was going to tell him that she had feelings for him. But if I remember correctly she saw the camera watching them and decided not to tell him.

Quesion: Was my answer correct?

Question: Was my answer correct?

Answer: I agree with you because she kissed him. Even though she was drunk she knew what she was doing. People who are drunk know what they are doing but they just lose their inhibitions. I think that if the camera crew wasn't there she would have said something to him, perhaps about the kiss.

Question: What kind of bear is best?
Answer: Black bear

real question: When did Ryan interview for the corporate job? he didn't show anything in Beach Games that would lead us to believe he even knew about the position, and he didn't perk up when Jim and Karen said they were applying.

Answer: I dunno. I don't think Ryan has ever perked up. I can actually only remember twice. 1. Pilot, but that wasn't the Ryan we know because it pretty much followed the British pilot verbatim. 2. When Jim asks him if he likes kelly, he says "It depends if you like a little junk in the (notices camera.)

So, I don't think he is that capable of showing emotion.
over a year ago Ross266 said…
in the deleted scenes of A Benihana Christmas Ryan shows a lot of emotion. He looks genuinly upset when Kelly tells him he treats her poorly and later when they are in the dumpster he tells Kelly that she is perfect

Problem: Where is the paper mill where they make all the paper Dunder Mifflin sells? They talk about it in "Product Recall" when a disgruntled employee over there send out the obscene card stock. But we never get to see it. Is there one paper mill for all the branches? Or is there a paper mill in Scranton? If so, why isn't it closer to the Dunder Mifflin building?

Answer: I think it was Creed since he never said that much through season 1 so i think that the producers thought that they could get away with it
