The Office Episode 5: Initiation

This is the first episode of the season that I was somewhat disappointed with. Don't get me wrong, there were still some funny moments. Michael dancing around and being an ass is always funny.

The ending phone call between Pam and Jim was also poignant, but the end was a little too deflated for me.

Dwight was a bit too over the top, though the egging of Axelrod's building was funny.

Here's hoping that the next episode is a rebound from this one. It'll be hard to get back to the commanding heights of a classic like the season opener, "Gay Witch Hunt".

Speaking of which, Oscar hasn't really done much since that episode has he?

I've read in several different Office fansites/blogs that Oscar Nunez is working on a new Comedy Central show, so he's going to be absent from The Office for a while. I think they said in the first episode that he got a paid vacation to Europe (in exchange for not suing the company).
