It was called Maze Runner 3: The Death Cure Confirmed! | moviepilot.com
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
TV and Movies are my life, hardcore fangirl and writer. Twitter @Shami1412
Although filming of The Scorch Trials ended just last month, The Death Cure, the third installment in the Maze Runner series has been green lighted by 20th Century Fox.
After the success of The Maze Runner movie which grossed over $100M domestically and $238M internationally the studio immediately started the production of Maze Runner 2: The Scorch Trials, which is set to release on September 18th 2015.
Now it looks like things are being set in motion for The Death Cure. T.S Nowlin is set to write the script, and although nothing has been confirmed Wes Ball will no doubt be returning to direct the third film as well. Whereas most film franchises split the final movie of the series into two, Wes Ball once said he didn\'t wish to follow this trend.
After the release of The Maze Runner the fandom increased rapidly from just fans of the books and it is continuing to increase every day, it\'s safe to say the fans definitely want to see the series continue. If we\'re lucky The Death Cure will be ready to release by September 2016.
Dylan O\'Brien from MTV\'s Teen Wolf, Kaya Scodelario (Skins) Thomas Brodie Sangster (Game of Thrones) Ki Hong Lee and Dexter Darden. Along with the new additions in The Scorch Trials movie, Rosa Salazar, Giancarlo Esposito and Aidan Gillen.
The Death Cure picks up immediately where The Scorch Trials ends. It is all about Thomas (Dylan O\'Brien) and the Gladers facing off against WICKED while fighting of the disease known as the flare. As all Maze Runner book fans know The Death Cure is the most intense book in the series for a lot of reasons, but one especially. So the movie will definitely be the same.
