I do see how people see the resemblence but Giselle is girly and chased by a prince, Ariel is a bit tomboyish and fights for her prince.

Dudes first off your crazy if you've never seen Enchanted, thats the Ultimate Disney tribute. Second I have always thought of Robert Gieselle and Nancey as Eric Ariel and Vanessa.

Thank you ,for that Flounder13 because every single time I watch this movie I always say that Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey are the live action version of Ariel and Eric. Robert has black hair styled just like Eric's and blue eyes . Giselle has red hair and very optimistic and she too has the same facial expressions as Ariel too. Nancy on the other hand was so like Vannesa meets Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Prince Edward is so like Gaston, Narissa is just like Malificent in every shape and form. Nathnail is just like LeFou to the back bone. I mean come on if you watch this movie and I can guartnee you that you will understand that this movie is a deja vu scenario and it mocks all the disney princesses yet in a good way. Anyway what I like about it is that it deals with reality and fiction so yeah if none of the above seen this movie then I suggest that you should either rent it or buy it and you won't be disapointed with it ,Im telling ya its awesome.
