I don't think any of the lionesses really liked him.

As for the sequel, I actually kinda headcanon Zira as a Scar fangirl rather than a mate. I can imagine Scar liking lionesses who didn't like him back, and Zira liking Scar but Scar having no interest in her. I can just see him in a big web of unrequited love.

He tried to get Nala (according to a deleted scene) but failed, and I don't think he did, Zira is a maybe but I doubt it :P

I believe he hit on Nala (the musical and a deleted scene from the first movie confirms it). But why isn't Zira an answer? I can totally see him bonding with Zira, getting it on and having Kovu and whatnot...

I don't think so, and I still wonder why the hell Zira had to appear in a sequel because Scar only appears with the hyenas and brother (even if he hates Mufasa) he tried to make Nala he's queen (in a deleted scene and in brodway musical) but she rejects his offer and (if I'm not mistaken) Scar banishes Nala of the pride lands and then she finds Simba.
