Who do you all think that Katniss would be better off with as an ally? From all 3 books

Definetly Finnick or Gale because they both would have (and in Finnick's case, he did) stay by her in every minute in the Games and make sure that no one harmed her. They both would die for her in a heartbeat and if they were the only ones left, they would let Katniss win. Peeta went off and joined the Careers, and I understand that he "did it to 'protect' Katniss", but let's face it...that turned out real swell, didn't it? They found her, she got stung by tracker jackers, and almost got killed by Clove because she had to get the medicine to Peeta. Finnick and Gale would be much better allies and supports.

Gale or Finnick. Gale knows his way around the woods and how to hunt, like Katniss, but he's a guy. He's stronger, and he would have put her over himself in any situation. He's also very clever, and could have helped her set and carry through with a trap. Same with Finnick, he would have protected her too, and had intelligence and could think quickly on his feet. They would both have been perfect for her. (I know Finnick was her ally in The Quarter Quell, but she wasn't sure who she could trust then, besides Peeta, if she had given him her full confidence, they could have worked wonderfully together.)
