The Hunger Games Question

Question about The Hunger Games: (Movie Soundtrack)

Okay, so now I have seen The Hunger Games twice, I have a question that has been looming in the back of my mind. Okay, so I REALLY liked the music in the movie, and I was wondering...is that music on the soundtrack? I like the song they used in the credits (not Safe & Sound, I like it but not that one) And I also liked the music they used for the interviews with Ceaser Flickerman. And I know that this MIGHT be considered a 'stupid question' but I've bought movie soundtracks thinking they'd have music from the movie, and they didn't..just songs that they used in credits. Please don't bash me, I'm just asking an honest question.

You probably have the official movie soundtrack. That one contains songs by bands, singers, etc that the movie people picked to be played in the movie.

What you're looking for is the score soundtrack. That is the one in which a composer composes music specifically made for parts of the movie. This is like the background music and theme music for characters.

So, look for the word "score" somewhere on the cd cover and you should have the right one. :)

There's two soundtracks, there's one that has songs done by artists and are played during the credits and then there's another one that is just instrumental and has the music from the actual movie. And there's no stupid questions, just stupid answers and hopefully this answers your question. :)
