Lately I've just been sitting around on my butt, so I decided I'd get up and write (actually, more like copy) a whole bunch of quotes from Percy Jackson & the Olympians. I'm not really organizing them, just pulling them out from random books.
*WARNING* I cant remember if Im supposed to add this or not, but just to be safe, none of these quotes belong to me. They are all Rick Riordan's property and I am simply pulling them out of his books and posting them here.
"Roman," Annabeth said. "Those mosaics are about two thousand years old."
"But how can they be Roman?" I wasn't that great on ancient history, but I was pretty sure the Roman Empire never made it as far as Long Island. The Battle of the Labyrinth, page 96
"We've had famous people in this cab!" Anger exclaimed. "Jason! You remember him?"
"Don't remind me!" Wasp wailed. "And we didnt have a cab back then, you old bat. That was three thousand years ago!" The Sea of Monsters, page 33
"Downsizing," Apollo said. "The Romans started it. They couldn't afford all those temple sacrifices, so they laid off Helios and Selene and folded their duties into our job description."
The Titan's Curse, page 50
I just realized I started this last year.
Well, thats all the info I can get right now. If you find any other quotes in the PJ&O series, post it in the comment and we'll make of it what we can.
Happy Reading~
