Neither of those are strange.

I was soooo glad those are open on holidays. this was like hmmmm 35 years ago or some such.

One year, I went to a family friend's house for Thanksgiving. I was so disheartened when there was only eggrolls for dinner. The next night, I went to Boston Market and got a sliced turkey plate dinner just to make up for the lack of turkey in my diet. LOL!

ROFL! i feel like eating eggrolls now!

One year we had our turkey barbequed Chinese-style. It was strange... They don't typically bbq turkey and the spices tasted kinda strange with the meat.

One year I went to a friends house and they decided to cook Chinese food, including eggrolls. Everything was wonderful, if a bit odd, and a few days later I was able to go to my parents house and get turkey and all the fixings. It's so weird someone else had eggrolls too-and someone of whom I'm a fan!

Back in my younger days... Since I didn`t have much family, Me and my Buds went to a sports bar and munched on some wings, Then we went to see Starship Troopers when it first opened. Not really your run of the mill Thanksgiving but it was fun

Pickles stuffed with cheese...it was actually pretty good. We just took some of those big, whole pickles, hollowed them out (just 1 in. circle down the center of the length of the pickle) and stuffed it with pieces of colby cheese. The people who heated it up said it was gross, but cold like I had it, it was good. A little strange, but good.

It tasted very....interesting
