I hated the Derek one because honestly he should have known better?? Actually, he did, but apparently he wasn't strong enough to ignore it. I was just so aggravated by him, come on Derek!! Ugh.

This one I really truly thought it was Ethan until he said "I'm right in front of you" or whatever.

^ I really disagree. The show and characters have been showing us and telling us exactly how much effect the Anuk-Ite has on people (The fear it creates) And Derek couldn't have done anything, what was he supposed to do? close his eyes until someone would come? Like Deucalion demonstrated really well with Malia, your eyes automatically react to the fear, so that you will be able to see the threat in front of you, he wasn't stupid or weak, and it seems a lot of people don't understand what the fear does to you.

I also disagree with that, it was obvious from the beginning to me, why else would they even be apart, and all the things Ethan said was just not right (And the way he said it even) - But I enjoyed that scene too though.
