Taylor Swift Back To December-Taylor Lautner Version

She says, 'I'm so glad you made time to see me.
How's life? Tell me, how's your family?
I haven't seen them in a while.'

I've been good, busier than ever.
We small talk, work and the weather.
My guard is up, and she knows why.

Because the last time I saw her
Is still burned in the back of my mind.
I gave her roses, and she left them there to die.

So, this is her swallowing her pride,
standing in front of me, saying she's sorry for that night,
and she goes back to December all the time.

It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing me,
wishing she'd realized what she had when she was mine.
She goes back to December, turn around and make it alright,
she goes back to December all the time.

These days I haven't been sleeping,
staying up playing back her leaving.
When my birthday passed, and she didn't call.

Then I think about summer, all the beautiful times
She watched me laughing from the passenger side,
and realized I loved her in the fall.

Amd then, the cold came, the dark days,
when fear crept into her mind,
I gave her all my love and all she gave me was good-bye.

So, this is her swallowing her pride,
standing in front of me, saying she's sorry for that night,
and she goes back to December all the time.

It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing me,
wishing she'd realized what she had when she was mine.
She goes back to December, turn around and change her own mind,
she goes back to December all the time.

She misses my tan skin, my sweet smile,
so good to her, so right,
and how I held her in my arms that September night,
the first time I ever saw her cry.

Maybe this is wishful thinking,
probably mindless dreaming,
but if we loved again, she swears she'd love me right.

She'd go back in time and change it, but she can't.
So, if the chain is on my door, she'll understand.

This is her swallowing her pride,
standing in front of me,
saying she's sorry for that night,
and she goes back to December...

It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing me,
wishing she'd realized what she had when she was mine,
She goes back to December, turn around and make it alright,
I go back to December, turn around and change my own mind.
... Even I go back to December...
all the time...
