When Tay was 11, she first went to Nashville and she hoped to have a contract with a demo tape of her singing with her karaoke songs. But she was rejected by record label and her peer. After that she came back to Pennsylvania and she had chance to sing at the U.S Open tennis and she sang the national anthem and she received a lots attention. When she was 12 she started writting songs and playing 12-tring guitar. In this year she often went to Nashville and wrote song with local songwriters. So her parents decided to move to Nashville when she 14. When Swift was 15 she rejected RCA Records because the company wanted to keep her on the development deal. By this year, Taylor performed at Nashville's songwritter venue,Bluebird Café and she catched
the attention of Scott Borchetta who signed her to his newly record label, Big Machine Records. After that, you know it, she becomes a famous country star and I luv her sooo much!!!!

Exactly, I was about to type all of that up but now I don't have too. And don't forget to mention that Big Machine Records was brand new and didn't even really have anything. No furniture, staff members, ect.
