when taylor was younger she wanted to be a musician so she begged her parents to take her to nashville.
the home of country music.
eventually she got her way and they went down.
taylor was 12 at the time. she made a demo tape and went around to all different recording labels and said "hi im taylor im 12 and i would like a recording deal." (how cute is that)
she got turned down many times. but she didnt give up.
when they got home she continued to write her own songs.
at age 14 she convinced her parents to move to nashville.
she got a gig playing in cafe there.
one day a recording dealer was there and saw how much talent taylor had and introduced himself.
and thats when it all started.
