does anyone know to who Taylor wrote never grow up?

I think it is about her.

The first part of the song is written from the point of view of someone else (probably her mom) looking and thinking about her and remembering how she was when she was a baby and teenager.

The second part of the song changes perspective to her singing about herself:

which i think is her talking about her moving out and how its a big scary thing and she kind of wishes she could stay "young" and innocent forever and be looked after by her parents. I think the song is her reflecting on the stage of her life she is in now and how she has to let go her childhood- when she was "little" and things were "simple" and she had no worries/regrets etc

It's just about her growing up. She's just wishing that she could have her childhood back. i also think that she is sending her fans a message with this song. Telling them that they should hold onto their childhood for as long as they can.
