No, not at all, they don't look alike in looks nor personalities, but I will admit that if Rapunzel was in 2D she will be half Giselle-Half Ariel.

There were times that both Rapunzel and Flynn reminded me of Giselle and Robert--although not so much for their appearance, but their mannerisms. But, the similarity is minimal and I enjoy both of the characters in Tangled much more.

Not personality wise AT ALL, but (besides the long blonde hair) sometimes they looks sorta-similar

I agree with Sheepprncss3 her manerisms are a little alike...but not really anything else.
